Housing support coordination for tenancy continuity and dispute resolution
Better Living Assistance (BLA) provides eviction prevention and housing stabilization services to eligible households facing housing insecurity in Orange County, Florida. Our goal is to help families remain housed, stabilize financially, and prevent future evictions through structured case management and supportive services.
How We Help
Our services include:
- Assistance with responding to court-filed eviction actions ( 5-Day Answer support )
- Budgeting and financial management counseling
- Information and referrals to community and government resources
- Case management services focused on housing stability
- Office-based and limited home visits, as appropriate
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must meet all of the following criteria:
- Be a U.S. citizen or lawful legal resident
- Have a court-filed eviction case in Orange County, Florida
- Demonstrate insufficient financial resources to independently stop the eviction
- Be currently employed with verifiable income sufficient to support future housing stability
- Be willing and able to participate in required case management services
