Better Living Assistance Inc. (BLA) was founded to respond directly to the growing needs of families and individuals facing housing insecurity, food scarcity, and limited access to educational support.

The organization was created out of firsthand experience serving vulnerable populations, recognizing that many families fall through the cracks when systems fail to work together. BLA was established to be a trusted, community-based resource that meets people where they are and helps them move forward with stability and hope.

Mission Statement

Better Living Assistance (BLA) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of individuals and families experiencing homelessness, housing instability, and social and economic hardship. Through eviction prevention, supportive services, and community-based resources, BLA promotes dignity, stability, and long-term self-sufficiency.

Vision Statement

A thriving community where all individuals and families have access to safe housing, basic necessities, quality education, and equitable opportunities to live with stability and purpose.
