Behind On Rent But No Notice Yet

This is the best moment to ask for help, and the one most people miss. Before a notice is served you have options that disappear later.

What to do this week

1. Work out the real number. How much is owed, and how much can you realistically put toward it?
2. Talk to your landlord in writing. Email or text, not a phone call, so there is a record. Ask for a written payment plan.
3. Do not promise what you cannot pay. A broken plan is worse than no plan.
4. Send us the eviction form. Early cases are cheaper and easier to fix.
